 A:This is the day the Lord has made  C:  Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

*A most blessed and happy Easter season to all. A special welcome to guests visiting with us today. We prayed you would come and we hope you are blessed as we worship together.

*There will be a special congregation meeting immediately after worship today to consider a proposal from our Property Team and Council to replace our main sewer line. Details are on page 15 of today’s bulletins. Please stay to vote on this financial expenditure.

*Also today, you are invited to meet with Pastor Alessandri and Council members in the parlor during Sunday School to discuss the Partnership Possibilities with Christ Lutheran Church. Bring your concern, ideas and questions.

*Ladies Night Out is May 14th at Runways Restaurant. All Haven ladies and friends are welcome. Sign-up at Sign-Up Central so we can make reservations.

*Will there be a VBS or Block Party this year? When is Music Sunday and the next Women’s Bible Study meeting? On which Sundays will Pastor speak about her trip to Israel? When will Holy Communion instruction be offered for our youngsters? Get all the answers and more in the May’s newsletter, available in the lobby today.

*Today is the final day to volunteer to be Haven’s delegates for the 2019 De-MD Assembly. Sign-up on the attendance form in your bulletin.

*Next Sunday, Pastor Alessandri’s great nephew, Hudson Potter Pizzini,  will be baptized here at Haven during worship. We hope you will come to be a part of this wonderful occasion with Pastor’s family who are traveling from Atlanta.

This week’s concerns and joys:

* Carol Shull is currently at Meritus Hospital after a serious fall. Irene Giffin was also at Meritus Hospital after a stroke. Both will soon be moving to nursing centers for rehab therapy. Please keep Carol and Irene in your prayers.

*Best wishes to Tanaya Richards, Joe Wolfe, Jane Muse, and Brian Pile who celebrate birthdays this week. Congratulations to Georgie and Stephen Kauffman who had their 15th wedding anniversary last Wednesday.
