Sermon June 19, 2022 (pdf)
Announcements ~ June 18/19, 2022
A: It is a good thing to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praise to your name, Most High;
C: to herald your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night. (Psalm 92-1-2)
God’s blessings to you this day. A special welcome to any guests visiting with us in person or on-line AND to all Fathers, sons and fathers-figures this Father’s Day weekend. It is a delight to worship together.
*Remember that in these summer months there are two in-person options for worship each weekend at Haven. One on Saturday at 5 pm and another on Sunday at 9:30 am. We will continue to have the Sunday morning service stream live on Facebook. Keep worship and gathering with your church community on your weekly calendar this summer.
*Next Sunday we will celebrate the 2022 graduates who are able to be at worship. The last regular coffee fellowship of the summer will be in their honor, too.
*A reminder to all Haven Teams that your 2023 budget request are due in July.
*Please take your bulletin home to read about opportunities for fellowship and service.
*The church office will be closed tomorrow for the Juneteenth Federal holiday. Pastor will work on Monday and take Wednesday off instead.
*Council members are asked to check their mailboxes and read reports to prepare for Monday’s Council meeting at 7 pm in Haven West.
This week’s concerns and joys:
*Haven member Danny Kiblinger is recovering from a very bad infection caused by a tooth abscess. Please keep in touch with Danny and keep him in prayer.
*Best wishes to Joanne Seilhamer and Max Schupp who have birthdays this week. Congratulations to Dawn and Ken Tice who have a wedding anniversary tomorrow.
