A: Teach me your way, O Lord
C: that I may walk in your truth
*God’s blessings to all this Third Sunday of Lent and a special welcome to any guests visiting with us today We are blessed by your presence and pray you are blessed as we worship together. We hope you will please sign our guest book or fill in one of our attendance forms so we can properly greet you.

*Youth Alert! Fun Alert! Haven’s Youth need you and your neighbors and families and even strangers off the street to come for Dessert and a Show on Saturday, April 1st. You get all the desserts you can eat and a “Who Dun-it” Murder Mystery play performed by the Potomac Playmakers for only $10 a ticket. Please pick yours up today. It will help replenish our seriously low Youth fund. Thank you.

* Haven, you are excelling in this year’s Easter Food Basket collection! The food is starting to come in and there are only a few egg tags on our Easter Tree remaining. Take an egg tag or two on your way out today. Food is due back on Palm Sunday, April 9th. Thank you for supporting this Haven project to battle hunger.

*We have the plastic eggs for our annual Easter Egg Hunt, but now we need goodies to fill them. There is box in the narthex for donations of Easter treats for the Egg Hunt. Thanks.

*The Youth are looking for some bakers to prepare cakes, cheesecakes, cobblers or pies for Dessert and a Show. If you can bake something please sign up on the mobile message board. Someone will call to confirm. Thank you.

*Our church secretary, Mary Grabill, has jury duty April 17 – May 15. She can call in the night before to see if she has to be in court the following day. We need volunteers to cover the telephone and greet visitors on the days she must be in court. More information is on page 17 of your bulletin. You can sign-up to be on Mary’s volunteer list on the attendance form in your bulletin. And yes, this IS coinciding with Pastor’s surgery and recovery. It could get messy — but together we can make it work for the glory of God.

This week’s concerns and joys:
*Thanks to Council members who attended yesterday’s retreat. Your time, attention and ideas are greatly appreciated. Be sure to visit your church mailbox and please read reports before Monday’s Council meeting.
*Best wishes to Ryan Harden, Hazel Gaumer, and Brenda Hassinger who celebrate birthdays this week.
