Announcements ~ February 7, 2021
A:      The Light shines in the darkness,

C:      and the darkness has not overcome it.                  (John 1:5)

*Welcome to worship at Haven Lutheran. This IS the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it together

*TODAY we will offer two opportunities for you to get more information about the Council’s Roof Project and Loan Proposals. For those here in church, you may stay after worship to ask questions and have discussion. For those at home, you may join in a ZOOM meeting at 12 noon today. The information you need to link or call into the ZOOM meeting is in today’s bulletin and was e-mailed in Haven’s Thursday E-Message. If you have any questions about the Roof Project and Loan Proposals, we hope you will attend one of these meetings today.

*NEXT Sunday at 10:30 am we will have a Special Congregational Meeting to vote on the Roof Project and Loan proposals. The meeting will be simultaneously in-person and on ZOOM. We need at least 50 voting members to participate for us to have a vote. We have been working on improving the sound for those who participate via ZOOM. Whether in person or via ZOOM, please make every effort to join in this important special congregational meeting next Sunday morning.

*February’s newsletter is available in the church narthex and at Haven’s website. If you would like to have the newsletter automatically sent to you on line, please contact the church office.

*Haven’s Annual Report is also available. You can pick up a copy in the church narthex OR in the large covered container on the back porch of the parsonage. Get a copy before the February 28th annual meeting. You WILL be surprise at all the Lord was able to do through Haven EVEN during a pandemic.

*Again, we want to remind those of you who are watching from your homes (look at the camera), bulletins, hymnals and blessed communion elements are available on the parsonage back porch after 2 pm on Fridays. If you do not have transportation, please contact the church office and a volunteer will bring worship supplies to you.

This week’s concerns and joys:

*Best wishes to Melita Kaplan, Aaron Richards, and Bob Snyder who celebrate birthdays this week.
