Announcements ~ January 16, 2022

A:      The Light shines in the darkness,

C:      and the darkness has not overcome it.    (John 1:5)

*Welcome to worship at Haven Lutheran Church during this Epiphany season. We offer a special welcome to our guests here at church and on-line. It is a blessing to worship together.

* Chairpersons of Haven Teams have your submitted your report for Haven’s annual report? Even though they were due January 15th, we are still looking for your report and ask you to submit it as soon as possible.

*2021 Giving statements and 2022 offering envelopes are available in the church lobby. Please pick yours up. If you live nearby someone who is not worshipping in-person, would you please take their statement and envelopes and drop them off to them? If you would like us to leave yours on the parsonage back porch for pick-up, please send your request by an email or a phone call to the church office.

*In case you didn’t hear yet, we are celebrating that the total of our Faith Building Together fund to repay our roof loan is now $73,415.10.!!!Many, many thanks to all who have contributed AND for also maintaining your regular offerings.

This week’s concerns and joys:

*Haven member, Pam O’Connor, is still at Ravenwood Nursing Center. Cards and calls would be a great way to offer encouragement and share some love. The address and her cell phone number are on the mobile message board.

*Best wishes to Dick Manspeaker, Frank Getz, and Abigail Andrews who have birthdays this week.

A:      Arise, shine; for your light has come,
C:      And the glory of the LORD has risen upon us.  (Isaiah 60:1)
