Announcements ~ January 30, 2022

A:      The Light shines in the darkness,

C:      and the darkness has not overcome it.      (John 1:5)

*Welcome to worship at Haven Lutheran Church during this Epiphany season. We offer a special welcome to our guests here at church and those who are with us on-line. It is a blessing to gather together in God’s presence.

*YOU’VE GOT MAIL February’s newsletter is now available in the church narthex, on the parsonage back porch and on-line.
We also still have some 2021 Giving statements and 2022 offering envelopes in the church lobby. Please pick yours up. Drop off any to near by neighbors. And if you would like us to leave yours on the parsonage back porch for pick-up, please send your request by an email or a phone call to the church office.

*Haven’s Blessing Box is like a mini-food pantry and it is being visited frequently. You can help feed our hungry neighbors by donating needed food items. A list of suggested items can be found in your bulletin, in the narthex and in the newsletter. When you shop, pick up an item or two and bring it to church. God’s Work. Our Hands.

This week’s concerns and joys:

*Carol Shull was hospitalized for several days at Meritus. She is now home. Send some Haven love in a card or by making a phone call. Keep her in prayer.

*Best wishes to Kristin Andrews, Carolyn Brogunier and Laura Manspeaker who have birthdays this week.

A:      Arise, shine; for your light has come,

C:      And the glory of the LORD has risen upon us.       (Isaiah 60:1)
