Announcements ~ January 31, 2021
A:      The Light shines in the darkness,

C:      and the darkness has not overcome it.                  (John 1:5)

*Welcome to worship at Haven Lutheran. We are delighted to be together, receive God’s gifts and offer God our praise and prayers.

*We want to remind those who are worshiping with us from their homes that you can pick up hymnals, bulletins and communion elements at the parsonage back porch each Friday after 2 pm. The bulletins are also available online. Whether a member, friend or neighbor of Haven, we want you to be able to participate and share holy communion.
If you have no transportation, please contact Pastor Alessandri or the church office so we can arrange for a volunteer to drop off worship supplies. We ARE the one body of Christ!

*2021 Offering Envelopes are available in the church narthex or by contacting the church office so we can arrange to get them to you. We are grateful for your faithful giving.

*February’s newsletter is available in the church narthex and at Haven’s website. If you would like to have the newsletter automatically sent to you online, please contact the church office.

* There will be a special congregational meeting on February 14th at 10:30 am to vote on proposals for a roof project and a loan. We ask those attending in the sanctuary to please stay. Other members will be able to participate via ZOOM. PLEASE make every effort to participate. We need at least 50 members to be able to conduct business. The proposals are in today’s bulletins and the February newsletter.

Next Sunday, February 7, we will offer two opportunities for you to get more information, ask questions and offer opinions about the proposal. You can either stay after worship next week OR join a ZOOM meeting at 12 noon.
We need everyone’s prayers, involvement and wisdom as we make an important decision for God’s church at Haven.

This week’s concerns and joys:

*Best wishes to Kristin Andrews, Carolyn Brogunier and Laura Manspeaker who celebrate birthdays this week.                          (after the announcements)

A:      Arise, shine; for your light has come,
