C:      “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”                               (Psalm 122: 1)

*Today at 11 am we launch our “God Squad Explorers” adventure with a ZOOM party for Haven’s elementary school children. Please keep our children, parents, the Parish Ed Team and this effort in your prayers.

*Copies of the book, Becoming A 21st-Century Church are now available on the Harvest for Hunger cart. Presentations by the author will resume this Wednesday. Look in your bulletin for more information.
There is a sign-up sheet next to the books to indicate if you’d be interested in Haven’s own in-person or on-line discussion group. Be of good courage and join the conversation about the meaning and future of the church.

*Haven’s Team for Bowl for Kids team is getting DESPERATE for sponsors. All proceeds will benefit the important mentoring mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Don’t let the kids or Haven’s team down. Any amount will be appreciated. You can put a check or cash in the envelope attached to our Harvest for Hunger cart or mail in your donation.  Marge Cunningham, Susan Strobl, Pastor Alessandri and Big Brothers Big Sisters will be very, very grateful.

*Pastor Alessandri will be out of town until Thursday evening visiting with family in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It will be her sister’s 68th birthday. If you would need a pastor’s care in her absence, please call Pastor David Eisenhuth of Trinity Lutheran, Hagerstown. His phone number is in your bulletin.
