Sermon & Announcements June 5, 2022 Pentecost Sunday

Sermon June 5, 2022 (Pentecost Sunday)

Announcements ~ June 5, 2022
A: I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
C: I will praise my God while I have my being.

God’s blessings to you this Pentecost Sunday. A special welcome to any guests visiting with us in person or on-line… and to those who have been guests and are making their membership “official” today… and to all our God Squad Explorers. It is a delight to worship together on this glorious day that the Lord has made.

*Did you notice all the weeding and mulching done around the church building? We want to thank all who came to help these last two Saturdays. We will continue our Saturday morning weeding and mulching until our landscaping is in good shape. ANY amount of time you can give will be appreciated. See the bulletin or Doug Wright for further information.

*Please stay after worship for REFRESHMENTS, FELLOWSHIP AND FUN. Be sure to welcome our newest members! Celebrate another year of God Squad Explorer Adventures. Enjoy the musical talents of Mike Shaeffer who has been singing to our Explorers this year. Join in on a special kids and adult cakewalk. Let us delight in being a community of God’s children!

*Starting next Saturday, we will offer a 5:00 pm worship service on Saturdays. The service is the same as Sunday’s but without music. If you can’t worship on Sundays this summer, remember there is a Saturday 5 pm option.

*The June newsletter is now available on-line, on the bulletin stand and on the parsonage back porch.

*The church office will be closed tomorrow so our Administrative Assistant can take a vacation day.

This week’s concerns and joys:

*Best wishes to Dawn Freeman, Morgan Butsch, and Joshua Webb who have birthdays this week. Congratulations to Brenda and Jim Hassinger and Valerie and Grant Wills who have wedding anniversaries this week.

                                                (after the announcements)
A: We prepare for worship as we listen to the prelude.
