Announcements May 13, 2018
A: This is the day the Lord has made,
C: let us rejoice and be glad in it!

*Blessings this Easter Season to all and a special welcome to guests visiting with us today.

*A Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and to those women who share a mothering love with nieces, nephews, cousins, students, neighbors and others. All women are invited to pick up a muffin in the lobby. Each contains a dash of thanks and lots of love.

*Vacation Bible School is returning to Haven June 25th to 29th!! We will be taking children back to the time of Babylon to witness the faith and courage of Daniel.
Look on page 15 of your bulletin, for all the ways you can help this gospel outreach. So far, we have 6 camper sponsors, one volunteer to help with simple sewing, and several donated items. Let’s keep moving forward, Haven! Take a yard sign to spread the news. Sponsor a camper in honor or memory of your mother. Let us partners in the gospel make this year’s VBS a success.

* Did you pick up your May newsletter. It is available in the church lobby.

*There are still some Haven garden plots that need to be adopted this summer. Can you help? Information and a sign up sheet are on the SIGN-UP CENTRAL bulletin board. God’s church. Our hands.

*May 15th is Ladies Night Out at the Black-eyed Susan Restaurant. Sign up today to attend at Sign-up Central. Friends are welcome, too.

*We still need several more people to sign up for tickets to the Totem Pole Playhouse production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” on June 3rd. If we sell 30 tickets, the price of tickets is $25 and it is more affordable for our youth to attend. Come take a nice Sunday drive to enjoy an entertaining musical. Sign-up at SIGN-UP CENTRAL.

*And now a special and secret announcement from Pastor Alessandri…..

This week’s concerns and joys:
*Vera Hedrick, the mother of Millie Strange, has suffered a serious, paralyzing stroke. Please keep Vera, Millie and their family in prayer.

*Best wishes to Barbara Miller, Ethan Rhodes, Morgan Haupt, Bill Plavcan, and Emily Butsch who celebrate birthdays this week.
