Announcements May 31, 2020

A:       I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;

C:      I will sing praise to my God while I have being.                  (Psalm 104: 33)

 * God’s blessings to all this Pentecost Sunday and welcome to Haven’s first Drive-up worship service.

*In the spirit of Pentecost, be sure your family, neighbors and friends know they have access to weekly worship and weekday devotions at Haven’s website —  May the Holy Spirit help us to spread the good news of our Lord’s saving grace and love.

*If you ordered red geraniums, we ask you to practice proper social distancing as you pick them up after worship. If you are not sure how many you ordered, ask one of our yellow vested ushers who will have a list. Thanks for sharing them with us today for our festival worship.

*As we are worshiping outside today, there are others watching Haven’s indoor Pentecost worship on-line. Whether inside homes or in the parking lot, we are one together through the Holy Spirit we celebrate today. For that we give God our thanks and praise.

 This week’s concerns and joys:

* We share the sad news that Sandy Myers will be entering hospice care this weekend. We have permission to tell you that Sandy has cancer is and she is too weak for any treatment. Cards and notes would be appreciated. Ken, Sandy’s husband of 56 years, appreciates phone calls as well. Please keep Sandy, Ken and their family in your prayers.

*Best wishes to Pat Pile, Dave Kaplan, and Dawn Freeman who celebrate birthdays this week. Congratulations to Don and Darylene Blickenstaff who has a wedding anniversary this week.

A: Rejoicing in God’s saving grace, we seek our Lord’s wisdom and strength:

C: “To honor God, to reach out with love to our members

and the community and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.”     (Haven Lutheran’s Mission Statement)
